The SDR-Boston User Group has been organizing the annual New England Workshop on SDR (NEWSDR) since 2011. Since then, the NEWSDR attendance has grown from a small group of 25 SDR enthusiasts to an annual attendance of approximately 100 individuals. Attendees come from the industry, academia, and government sectors with the common goal of advancing the field of software defined radio.
